REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BERLIN - A court in Germany sentenced imprisonment for four years and nine months for a former assistant pastor of the Catholic Church who is also former director of the youth of the church because it proved to sexually abusing children.
The Court states in the central city of Darmstadt, Monday (4 / 10), convicted 31-year-old man because of harassing six boys aged 11 to 13 years. As stated by the court spokeswoman, Christa Pfannenschmidt, told AP on Tuesday (5 / 10).
The court said, eight cases of sexual abuse occurred in Catholic parishes and Protestant between 2001-2004. The defendant whose name is only mentioned as Sven K, based on the Privacy Act of Germany, led the youth group and organize children's theater events.
